Statistics: Russian tops Saudi Arabia in oil production in May
MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Russian oil output averaged 10.46 million barrels daily in May, as compared to 10.241 million barrels, produced by Saudi Arabia in the period, according to data of the Federal State Statistics Service, seen by PRIME on Thursday.
OPEC’s daily oil production amounted to 32.361 million barrels in May.
Russia produced 10.127 million barrels daily and Saudi Arabia’s daily output amounted to 10.157 million barrels in April, according to service’s revised date.
Russia’s oil output rose 3.3% on the year to 228.1 million tonnes in January–May. Country’s oil and gas condensate exports amounted to 105.8 million tonnes. The share of oil exports in Russia’s total export amounted to 24.8%.
In May, Urals price increased 12.7% on the month to U.S. $326 per tonne.
